Online profiles can a very useful tool when you are looking for a job. There are many positive things that I like about a personal web page compared to a site such as LikedIn. One of the benefits of having a person web page is that you are able to share a little more than your work and education that you have done. Being able to have pictures, that are appropriate, blogs, contact information and work on a website that is interactive is a better way for employers to see you. Being able to have an interactive website compared to a static website is a great way to see how you appeal to others. If you are able to grab their attention when they look at your personal web page they will keep looking through the website instead of moving on to the next person.
